Use Squarespace Code Injection to add the widget site-wide.

Add code injection

  1. Open Settings > Advanced > Code Injection.

  2. Paste the script in the Footer field.

  3. Save your changes.

Verify on your live domain

Visit your public site (not the editor preview) and confirm the chat bubble appears.

Expected outcome

  • The widget loads on all public pages.
  • Visitors can open the chat on mobile and desktop.

Common issues

  • Snippet added to the header instead of the footer.
  • Testing on a preview URL with a different domain than production.
