Key concepts and terminology
A shared vocabulary for understanding the product and the docs.
What you will learn
- The core objects used by the chatbot and analytics
- How business data influences responses
- What outcomes and integrations mean in HikariFloww
Business profile
Your business profile is the canonical source of truth for the chatbot. It includes your name, domain, address, hours, menu, and type-specific details.
- Used to build the system prompt
- Determines what the widget shows to visitors
- Drives the default greeting and brand color
Conversations and sessions
Each message is stored as part of a conversation. A session groups messages over a visitor visit so you can measure engagement and outcomes.
- Conversation: a sequence of user and assistant messages
- Session: the visitor context for a single visit
- Channel: where the conversation started (website, integrations)
Outcomes and integrations
Outcomes are measurable actions triggered by the chatbot, such as booking clicks or phone taps. Integrations connect external systems so the bot can act on real data.
Expected outcome
- You can interpret documentation terms without guessing.
- You know which settings influence what the chatbot says.
Common issues
- Confusing the widget (customer-facing) with the admin panel (team-facing).
- Assuming integrations are available without an Enterprise plan.
