Filtering and date ranges
Slice analytics by time range and channel for more targeted insights.
What you will learn
- How date windows are applied
- How to compare periods fairly
- How to use channel filters
Date windows
Choose a date window (for example 7, 30, or 90 days) to control the reporting period. Shorter windows show recent trends; longer windows show seasonality.
Anchor date
Some dashboards allow an anchor date to compare trends against previous periods. Keep the same window size for a fair comparison.
Channel filter
Filter by channel to isolate website traffic from integration-driven bookings.
Expected outcome
- You can isolate the metrics that matter most for your reporting.
- You can compare periods without skewed results.
Common issues
- Mixing short and long windows when comparing changes.
- Filtering by channel without enough data in that segment.
