Filtering and date ranges
Slice analytics by date range and segment channels with current reporting tools.
What you will learn
- How date windows are applied
- How to compare periods fairly
- How to compare website and WhatsApp traffic
Date windows
Choose a date window (for example 7, 30, or 90 days) to control the reporting period. Shorter windows show recent trends; longer windows show seasonality.
Anchor date
Some dashboards allow an anchor date to compare trends against previous periods. Keep the same window size for a fair comparison.
Channel segmentation
Use the channel breakdown cards and CSV export to compare website vs WhatsApp traffic. If channel dropdown filtering is enabled in your workspace, use it for narrower analysis.
Expected outcome
- You can isolate the metrics that matter most for your reporting.
- You can compare periods without skewed results.
Common issues
- Mixing short and long windows when comparing changes.
- Reading channel trends from too little data in one channel.
